2013 NBA and NFL at Greeley Avenue

use-in-sportsWe’re into the first full week of 2013. The sun has graced us with its presence for a few days, and the temperatures have turned into full January weather, making it ideal to warm up with a strong drink, food, sports and of course a good game of pool.

We’re off and running with the NFL playoffs. I’m rooting for the Seattle Seahawks to move forward this year. I think they are overdue for another chance in the Superbowl, and feel the 2005 game wasn’t an accurate and fair one. I’m sure the Steelers fans disagree. Here’s the schedule for the playoffs this weekend.

Saturday playoff games:

  • Ravens vs. Broncos
  • Packers vs. 49ers

Sunday play off games:

  • Seahawks vs. Falcons
  • Texans vs. Patriots

Important NFL Dates:

  • Jan. 12-13, 2013: Divisional round games
  • Jan. 20, 2013: AFC and NFC championship games
  • Feb. 3, 2013: Super Bowl XLVII, New Orléans (CBS)

I’d love to hear who you’re cheering for. Super Bowl XLVII is hosted at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New OrleansLouisiana on February 3, 2013. Some of the best Super Bowl parties I’ve attended, are at my favorite sports bars, join us at Greeley Avenue!

There’s more than enough NBA games on the big screens this weekend at Greeley Avenue, so take your pick of the TV and game.
